HOW GREAT THIS IS! With the proceeds from our rummage and book sale we were able to buy a 10'x14' shed and it just so happened that Kern River Gas Company had a work day scheduled at the facility. The crew showed up, some even driving down from Fillmore, and they worked so hard and seemed to enjoy the jobs. The women did so much clean up and trimming of shrubs and then did the painting - it sure looks different now and so much better. The men took on the shed building project and what a great benefit this will be. Seems like we never have enough storage space for all the wonderful donations we receive - dog and cat food, supplies like carriers, cages, food and water dishes, toys, etc. The weather was perfect, the crew was wonderful - what more could any group ask for in the way of help?
