ANGELS FOR ANIMALS DECEMBER EVENTS |

HOLIDAY OPEN HOUSE AND BENEFIT FOR ANGELS FOR ANIMALS You are invited to an Open House and Benefit to be given by the ladies of Dammeron Valley. They plan to help celebrate the season by giving a helping hand to our foster care facility and the foster animals. A gift of money, supplies, food or volunteer time would be gratefully appreciated. You are invited to share a festive hors d'oeuvre or dessert for the buffet table. Date: December 16 - Sunday Time: 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Place: 955 W. Volunteer Lunch This year we had a small volunteer lunch at the Q4U BBQ in St. George and had a lot of laughs, good companionship and good food (we really enjoyed the hush puppies and ate so many that most of us could not finish our sandwiches!). Not all of the volunteers attended - one got stuck due to bad weather when she and her family went up in the hills to cut a Christmas tree - but those who attended sure laughed a lot and ,oh, the stories that were told! Rhonda and her two sons, who run the bbq, went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and the homemade bread pudding really topped off a great meal.

We need volunteers to walk and show off animals at the Adoptathons, help publicize and work at the rummage sales and pet parades, and there is always a place in Angels for Animals for someone who has the animals' best interests at heart. |
