ANGELS FOR ANIMALS AUGUST EVENTS |

DONATIONS NEEDED! We are gearing up for our big book sale in October and donations are needed. The sales are always a huge success and are held in St. George. The funds raised will help us care for our foster animals and also support the Trap/Neuter/Return program for feral cats and kittens. The generosity of the community has always been great and we really appreciate it. MORE GREAT HELP! This time, on August 12, we had a group of ten young men from Cross Creek come to help at the foster care facility. What a good job they did, too - worked with the dogs and cats, cleaned kennels and the cattery, played with the animals, put up two canopies (one without written instructions, so that was fun!), moved lots and lots of rocks, unloaded bags of dry cat food and put them in the storage shed, and more. Then, of course, we had a big lunch and got to talk for a while. it is so nice to have these young people come and help us and they do the work with a "willing heart". Not the easiest thing to do in the heat of the summer, but lots of sodas and bottled water help.

We need volunteers to walk and show off animals at the Adoptathons, help publicize and work at the rummage sales and pet parades, and there is always a place in Angels for Animals for someone who has the animals' best interests at heart. |
